This medicine is not recommended for use in postmenopausal women with osteoporosis, heart disease, or any other systemic illness. Long-term use of this medicine may cause a decrease in bone mineral density, which may increase the risk of fractures.

Some products that may interact with this drug include, Carbamazepine,Phenytoin,Warfarin,Rifampicin,Testosterone,Amphetamine,Antacids containing calcium/magnesium/aluminum.
