This medication is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension).

Dizziness, lightheadedness, tiredness, and nausea may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, tell your doctor or pharmacist promptly.

It is contraindicated in sinus bradycardia, heart block greater than first-degree, cardiogenic shock, and overt cardiac failure.
