It is used to treat high blood pressure and heart failure. It is also used after a heart attack to improve the chance of survival if your heart is not pumping well.

Dizziness, lightheadedness, drowsiness, diarrhea, impotence, or tiredness may occur. Tell your doctor or pharmacist promptly if any of these effects persist or worsen.

It is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to the drug
