This medication is used to treat certain mental/mood conditions (such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, sudden episodes of mania or depression associated with bipolar disorder).

Constipation, drowsiness, upset stomach, tiredness, weight gain, blurred vision, or dry mouth may occur.

Hypersensitivity to the active ingredient. This medication is not approved for use in children under 10 years old.
