This medication is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension).

Dizziness, lightheadedness, tiredness, and nausea may occur. Tell your doctor or pharmacist promptly if any of these effects persist or worsen.

It is contraindicated in sinus bradycardia, heart block greater than first degree, cardiogenic shock, and overt cardiac failure.
