Angina
It is used to prevent chest pain (angina). It may help to increase your ability to exercise and decrease how often you may get angina attacks.
Dizziness, lightheadedness, weakness, nausea, flushing, constipation, and headache may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, tell your doctor or pharmacist promptly.
Contraindicated in patients with sick sinus syndrome except in the presence of a functioning ventricular pacemaker, patients with second-or third-degree AV block except in the presence of a functioning ventricular pacemaker, patients with hypotension (less than 90 mm Hg systolic), patients who have demonstrated hypersensitivity to the drug, and patients with acute myocardial infarction and pulmonary congestion documented by x-ray on admission.
